MEET NICOLE THOMPSON!!
Nicole is The Depot’s Event & Academy Coordinator and is an absolute ROCKSTAR!! She possesses an extremely high level of organization, passion, and dedication to everything she touches around The Depot! From meticulously coordinating our events and keeping the facility festively decorated with seasonal and holiday themes, to her amazingly creative Facebook posts and the way she makes each of our teens feel uniquely loved and encouraged, Nicole is truly a blessing to have in The Depot Family!
Between being our BECOMING U Academy homeschool support group Coordinator and a homeschool mother of her own two children, she brings a wealth of knowledge and organization to the program, and a passion to mentor and tutor the student “Becomers” too! Her dedication runs so deep that she recently re-taught herself Calculus just to better help tutor one of the Teens!
Nicole’s faith in God personally guides her to “step out of the boat” in every aspect of her life – as a wife, as a mother, as a lover of animals, and as an engaged member of the community volunteering to lead programs with 4-H and Girl Scouts. And if juggling family. work, and community weren’t enough, she also recently graduated from Leadership Charlevoix County – a 9-month leadership development program for emerging leaders, where she learned and experienced a wide variety of resources throughout Charlevoix County and was instrumental in the organization and implementation of their class project.
